Hi! I'm Maya. I'm a body-neutral weightlifting coach. I use evidence-based training methods combined with creativity and compassion to make exercise enjoyable in the short term and sustainable in the long run. I am also a performing artist and dog lover! I've coached weightlifting, CrossFit, rowing, powerlifting, General Preparedness Programs, teen empowerment programs, and more. In college, I rowed all four years at a Division 1 university and worked nights in an MMA gym as a training partner for fighters in almost every weight class. I also taught summers at an aquatic center and led snorkel tours, swimming with leopard sharks and sea lions!
